Trader raises $4.8b for Monaco-based fund

Jon Wood, a former UBS trader who helped the Zurich-based bank earn US$2.4 billion over a six-year span, raised more than US$3 billion ($4.8 billion) from investors for a hedge fund he plans to open in September.
